The hotel is owned by BCNC's directors family and we were all impressed with the accommodations. It was pretty similar to an American hotel and we were all pretty anxious for some comfortable rest. I know tomorrow holds another full day of exploring Chiang Rai and I am excited to see more of this country in the few days we have left ...

... back to business! The second half of the day we continued our nursing care at the hospital and observed a pleurocentesis (removing fluid from the thoracic cavity of a patient with metastasizing breast cancer). I had never seen this before so it was great to learn from a physician who was willing to teach me. Overall, it was a great first day at Nakornping Hospital!

After a long day of standing in the hospital, I was excited to get back to the dorms and rest my legs. ...
