We didn't ride bareback as they had some contraption on them to sit on, but got to saw ...

A Czechoslovakian couple slept in hammocks. The thin cottom mats on bamboo floors were not comfortable. The village roosters started at 2 AM. Tom slept poorly. I slept pretty well because of fatigue but it was a tough night for most of the ...

... out buckets full of watermelon and bananas. We were told not to directly put the food in their mouths but to hold it out and wait for them to snap it up in their trunks, some of them were getting excited and helping themselves to the food in the buckets. We were lucky enough to feed the herd with the baby elephant, the mothers would grab some fruit and throw it down on the floor, we soon realised this was because the baby couldn't reach us so they were putting it down for them. ...
