olds cannot keep them maintained anymore. Sad really. During the Genoese

... since we are actually quite close to central Italy, the scenery was reminiscent of Tuscany. We enjoyed the drive in the sunshine and as we got closer to the coast and to our destination it just got better and better. We had a short drive today—55 miles and 1 ½ hours from L'Ile Rousse to Bastia. Our Garmin took us through the desert. It was interesting. We also drove through the wine region that produces the Patrimonio wine. We had to stop and tast (and buy one bottle) at a family run vineyard.
