Chez Tremblant Mont Tremblant

... we arrived at Mont Tremblant, Quebec at 11:30am. The place was already packed with tourists and people like us, just wanting to get away for one day. We made our way from the parking lot to the ski resort village of Mont Tremblant which is just at the bottom of this majestic mountain. ... la journée et nous sommes partis au parc du Mont Tremblant pour admirer les couleurs de l'automne. Je ne voulais pas rater ça cette année, car l'année dernière quand j'y suis allée, toutes les feuilles étaient tombées!

Aujourd'hui le ciel était quand même très couvert, mais finalement, on n'a pas eu trop de pluie. Bref, on s'en est bien tirés, et on a passé une bonne journée! Et les couleurs étaient superbes!

... laurentian mountains for the weekend. So we (and by we I mean I) priced out rental cars, found us a hostel and made the arrangements and by 5pm we were on the road. Day 20 - New Years Day Another day of travelling only this time we have all of our bags in a camry or maybe that should be Cramry. Ok so we had a bit of a scary trip. When Phil was driving the roads weren't too bad. But when I got behind the wheel there was a stretch of road (luckily the girls were asleep) where there was high wind and it was snowing........slippery and it takes so much concentration just to drive in ...

... we all just wandered around. After seeing most of the town we jumped back on the bus and headed to our hostel. The hostel was a little hippy but nice. We got a canoe or two and head out onto the lake that we were next to and enjoyed the sun for a little while before dinner. Dinner was really nice and we had a couple cookies for dessert. After dinner we had a few games of pool and chatted until we all got sleepy and then headed to bed before another day on the road tomorrow.

... the way are probably the most time consuming. Sometime around October 7th I plan on taking off. It should be a beautiful trip as I will be driving during the time that the trees are changing colors and the weather will be nice and cool.

I lived in Mont Tremblant for several years enjoying the beautiful country. There are many Mont Tremblant Vacation Rentals in that area if you like to ski.
