... for the gate - no time for eat, drink or BR, but made it, thank heavens for the Gerauds sandwiches - they were a lifesaver.

I have since heard from Cape Air who have most generously tried to make up the bad situation. Thumbs up to them. We will give them another chance - yes we can be bought!

So, we’re home, and the pain has set in. This trip was different than most, I did not feel so tranquil trying to avoid the “me” crowd. I ...

... nice dinner, actually Kees was cooking and Jeroen was 'learning' how to cook.

Wednesday I was busy with transfers from the airport. Needed to check if everyone is there and almost literally put them into the bus. I sweat my ass off on the sun in long trousers but then the working day was over! After work I had couple of drinks with my neighbour Jeroen.

Thursday was a looong day, first office day, actually I could drive to Westin Hotel so I wasn't that bored :P Then ...

No bball at La Savane due to rain, so I put on my church clothes (hoping my nice flip flops would be acceptable becaues the only other shoes I had were New Balance, Nike, or Puma) and went Mary Star of the Sea, a two minute walk away. The service was just like any other Catholic service except that the priest spoke in English and then in French, not sentence by sentence, but more like gospel by gospel or prayer by prayer. The church walls were lined with the scenes ...
