      ... out on the pontoons enjoying a beautiful, sunny fall day on the water. We saw that it was 28 degrees, and wished we were out there with a cold beverage as well.       Sept 14th

      We decided to add a stop today and it was a short drive from Montreal to Trois-Riviers. It is the second oldest city in Quebec but it is not very large. The drive was picturesque, as usual, but we are now starting to see a hint of fall color in the leaves. We again noticed cathedrals everywhere.       ... disastrous results. Our water policies in the west are only now starting to catch up with reality. Hopefully every aquifer in the west will not be drained before we figure out how to live in a way that is consistent with the nature of our environment.
