... icecream cone on the top. This place is obviously a sort after holiday destination for Europeans, I would suggest ones with money as it appears it would be expensive to stay here. As we are now in France - frogs legs were on the menu for entree tonight. Jeanette, Lee and Gail ordered them and they were lovely. Brian opted out as the kitchen advised they were out of wheelchairs for the poor leg less ...

... try her again later today.

We walked across the street for dinner tonight. We wanted fried calamari and a pizza. The guy who drug us into the restaurant assured us we could get calamari. He had a scoop of tapenade, tomato puree, smashed squash and I believe smashed celeriac. It was a really nice ...

We had a lovely day of driving this beautiful island. I do think it is by far one of the prettiest islands we have seen. It's very mountainous and everything after that is seascape and beautiful beaches. We'll climb to over 3,000 feet elevation, and in 10 minutes we are at a beautiful beach.

Our hotel was O.K. for the night. It wasn't what we had expected, but I don't think there was much choice for this area, and they ...

... looking at beaches (the first white sand beaches we have seen) with a temperature of about 26 degrees and snow at the same time. Our first stop was a quaint village (L'lle Rousse) where we stopped for about an hour. The markets were open and we wandered through them. It has a beautiful white sandy beach and a large number of resorts. Club Med 2 was anchored just off the beach. Next we headed up the mountains. The Balagna Village road was narrower than either Amalfi ...
