... and we also needed to catch up on months and months of blog that have just not been kept up to date. So many times we have nearly thrown in the towel as bad wifi and just the general lack of time to sit and write and upload photos have stopped us doing what we need to do, but after 2 and half years of blog it just didn’t seem right to give up now.

... Belo Horizonte, we traveled to Ouro Preto, a small town with lots of churches and museums... Here we went to a Science & Rock Museum and explored some churches, overall we weren't too impressed with the small town but would have been much more enjoyable if we had a guide- everything was in Portuguese and we couldn't understand even the descriptions !!!

... lucky to have gone to see her today because Ze (Jess's Uncle, Dona Vera's son) was leaving to the USA and it would be the last time I see him until either I come back to Brazil or he comes to Aus to visit.
After watching a National Geographic programme about Australia, I had a quick lunch before rushing out to catch the bus to get to my next job. I was doing a translation today and correcting a few things ...
... this time in a different spot, with couchsurfers this time. It was just down the road. Apparently a lot of the people that went to the Real Life party go there too so I got in touch with some of them and ended up going with Will and Priscilla and met up with a lot of people from saturday night.
It was a very different crowd, but still some nice people ...
... came and gave us a free milkshake. I have no idea why. Just a really nice guy I guess :)
Then the chaos began. We all went out to dinner at the kone sushi place. There were literally 25 gringos that took over the place and here I took the opportunity to catch up with more people and make even more friends. Sam and I had semi planned on going out, relying on the willingness of everyone else to join us, but everyone was being a pussy, so we were ******* too and went to ...
