... some beautiful sights. The Cathedral was absolutely magnificent- inside as well. We had an amazing lunch at the most gorgeous restaurant! I had a mushroom and red wine risotto and Lee had creamed squash Ravioli- it was divine. Then of course followed by gelato- mixed flavours, so perfect!!! Yesterday (Friday 9th Jan) we had another amazing breakfast - this time with Roberto and Ilaria. We spent the day with Ilaria's brother Dario and his wife Anita. While we were waiting outside to be picked up by Dario, we were saw the local baker who drives around beeping his horn and sells breads and pastries from his van. Roberto bought us a custard pastry which was delicious! We were laughing saying that it was Switzerland's equivalent of Mr Whippy. ...

... on this?'. In Italy, we've found a few things done differently to home, but consistently. The club Secretary does all the tee times and green fees, and we have found them all to be women so far. This one speaks excellent English. They give you a card to collect your trolley or buggy from the 'Caddy Master' and a bag tag to indicate fees are paid. ... are coming from the other direction, a dressed up in their hiking gear. I notice how everyone wears a "uniform" here. If they're out jogging, they're wearing jogging clothes, biking they wear biking clothes, hiking, they have hiking specific gear... I pass a couple of long distance cyclists, and they have their special gear. It's like there are rules for everything--even having fun, and everybody follows those rules. Except me of course.
