    After a brief glimpse into the tools I use to plan our trip and the information I look to plan, the natural question is "why go through all this effort?" After all, there are a number of people who believe the best trips are just based on being spontaneous.

    ... But I've discovered that everything is bigger in Texas! Dallas has four terminals that are connected by a train. Denver airport has a train to connect their 3 terminals, but their train goes underground. In Dallas the train goes on the outside of the terminal buildings, similar to the monorail we had in Sydney.     ... for a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The air is thin up there! The last little bit has you walk up a couple hundred stairs and you could definitely feel it.
