... a campground outside of Austin in the Texas Hill Country. The winds followed us and made for another interesting night in the tent. The next morning, Monday, it was raining. The activities we had planned were all to be outdoors. So, we decided to head towards Dallas. Rain started pouring down as we were driving north along I-35. No tent tonight! We are now at the Holiday Inn Express with no risk of getting our feet wet.

Kentucky and Amy and Janet. Frank and Sheryl were and are in the trucking
business, Frank having his own trucks, and Sheryl works for PTL. Amy was a

0730. Woke up & we all started packing & cleaning up. 0930. We all took off for McDonald's. Not sure why because they were planning to eat Kim Son buffet in Houston for lunch. 1000. We parted ways from everyone. Mando & I made plans to meet up with Jeb for lunch. 1300. Had lunch at Nit Noi. Jeb got to meet Mando & Ava. It was a nice lunch. 0800. Woke up with a little face looking at me. Slept on the top of 3 bunks. 0830. Made some bacon pancakes for breakfast. It was delicious! 1000. Back on the beach. There was a guy there who had surf boards & SUPs for everyone to demo. Cạu 5 tried a surf board but ended up pulling something. I got a SUP & had a blast tho it was rough! ... we ordered pancakes- and in true Texan style a stack of 2 pancakes was about 10 cm thick and 40cm long. We couldn't eat them all! For dinner we went to the dog tracks. It's the biggest track I have ever seen. The car park was huge as was the stadium. Randy lost a lot of money betting on greyhounds - he should have listened to Teresa!
