We left Grand Isle, Louisiana, and headed West to Lafayette. We had decided to spend two days there at a KOA campground, as there were several interesting places we wanted to visit. Upon check-in we discovered how close we were to a busy highway (I-90) and with a rainstorm headed our way, we chose to forego the tent and rented a cabin instead. The rains were expected to continue for a second day, so we decided just to ...

football team leaving the huddle, and saw one of the girls come out to open the
curtains and rushed to the order desk and was first in line for our steaks. Now
talk about being old, dinner at 5:00 pm. go figure. Anyways we were first to be
served and at $12.00 a plate, nice steak, cooked to perfection, big Idaho
potato and a salad, not to be beat, and the atmosphere is pretty good too. We
