... in an old pub along the coast then the boat. This really is the best way to see the coast. Lots of great coastal landforms like arches and stacks as this coast gets pounded by storms. There had been a big storm in February that had taken a whole beach away for a few hundred metres. Nothing but cliffs there now. Also saw two massive caravan parks right on the cliff. One is the biggest in Europe and accommodates 16 000 people. Aargh!! The rock formations are interesting and ...

Back home, then off to Exeter for a bit of a look around. Drove to the outskirts and used the Park and Ride system into town. So easy and appropriate for us. Town was very busy with the inner area filled with shoppers, such a nice day to be out. Wandered down to the quayside area beside the ...

Gareth has now set sail from Plymouth at approximately 4pm. All feeling a little bit nervous today as the reality hits. Managed just about to get all of our stuff in the car. Fully loaded but we did it. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new era , very very excited. Enjoyed a full on day with the boys and Granny in ...
