    ... then back onto the tube to head back to Paddington. Back to our room for a little rest and to Trip Adviser somewhere for dinner. Found a nice Italian restaurant 'Bizzaro' and headed there for dinner and drinks. Great, noisy atmosphere with real Italians running it and great food. Great find!     ... was comfortable and air conditioned. Now I have had a taste of what is offered to Officers of the RAF and the rest of HM Forces, I feel that I definitely want to pursue commission.

    Next up, I have to tackle the dreaded London Underground to get to Brunel University. I look forward to meeting the rest of the lads before we are up bright and early to set off for Heathrow. I will post again if possible when I get to the University.

    ... the agreement was that the 16 of us going were meeting at Carringtons school in Flackwell Heath at 3.30am! Early start for sure! We had only been at the school 12 hours before as we were packing the equipment we had to take into suitcases. Then we had to weigh them to make sure they weren't over weight.
