... very nearly was denied entry to Australia. She hadn't put an address on the declaration sheet and was taken aside for questioning. Good job McG. Glenelg beach house greeted us with a heavy metal night (oh god) but we managed to get a private room so no one could judge how weird we were getting up at the crack of dawn. ... stop was breakfast. They used all local produce and the toast we got with our breakfast was the thickest slice of toast we have ever seen, but absolutely delicious. We had also read about a bakery that is famous for its vanilla slices and so of course we had to get one to have for later. With pretty full bellies we then headed to Maggie Beers Farm Shop. This was Christmas come early (or pretty much right at the right time actually) with christmas puddings, ...

... markets they are now targeting. So lunch in the car park yes, but buying wine, no.

*We drive to Adelaide via Lyndoch where there is a lavender farm selling – lavender products of course! Worth checking out if you have time. In fact, everywhere in the Barossa valley is lovely. We cannot find any negatives. We like it so much that we plan to return after our very brief visit to Adelaide. It will also cut ...
