... food was an improvement on past trips and good considering the conditions under which it is prepared. I enjoyed the self help bar at the back of the plane and met a few friendly and interesting people during regular leg stretching sessions while picking up snacks.

The number one activity on Trip Advisor - Cleland Wildlife Park. Walk with kangaroos and wallabies, pat koala's etc. Seemed like a neat place in the hills that surround Adelaide. Getting there was the problem. Tourist info people were at a loss as the summer is just ending here so daily tours are no more. Public Transit said it would take almost two hours, taxi fare $140 return. What to do. There is a zoo in downtown Adelaide - an option. I looked at renting a car for the day but ...

14 odd hour flight to Sydney where the joys of Customs and Immigration awaited. Only upside is duty free. Brugal Grand Reserva XV plus two bottles of scotch brought in. Then final leg to Adelaide once we changed airports in Sydney and home at 3pm.
