A travel blog entry by mickoobyrne

... Australia on the old highway and back roads thru the Flinders Ranges but we got to within 10 kms of the Adelaide CBD having spent 90-95%of our time on the dirt, or mud actually. It rained every day.

After a week in Adelaide where I attended a conference and Bruce and I both saw some great shows at the Fringe Festival with our good friend Nano we hit the road home sticking to the tar. Three long days driving saw us back in Perth. Next stop ...

... so I am constantly practicing my photos and boy it is difficult coming off that auto mode, but incredibly interesting and challenging. Over the next few weeks I will take more photos of Glenelg as I walk around with my photography practice, hopefully I will be satisfied that I have not missed anything !

We spent our last day on Hammo searching for a couple of bags that we could offload some of our contents into so we don't ...

Summing up Adelaide

A travel blog entry by mel.jackson2013

... a beer garden. It ended with plenty of applause and a disowning look from Mish! Poor girl. There was no better way for my last night in Adelaide to go.

I had a great time in Adelaide, and felt very much at home whilst staying with Pene and Tim. They are wonderful. They are dear to me, as are the rest of my family there, and I will miss you! I will be back soon! I met some pretty cool people too and hope to stay in touch and see you when I get back there!

Peace out!
