... To conclude our last night in Europe with a huge bang, we saw a fantastic concert in one of the palaces! We were expecting classical music, however we were treated with opera and a wonderfully animated conductor who engaged the audience and indeed the performance had a great deal of comic element. ... back on Sunday. This is my "birthday" trip and will include tickets to the Czech state opera premiere of "Tannhauser". Too cool. And speaking of cool, while much of the U.S. is shivering in their "Polar Vortex", central Europe is enjoying a warmer than average "winter" with temperatures hovering nearly ten degrees farenheit above freezing. I can't complain.

... the Privy Garden with lots of lemon, lime and orange trees. I was tempted to take one, but was worried about alarms going off and being locked up in Austrian prison.
