    ... like our kids (as opposed to the requisite "love our kids" because we are obliged to), so the opportunity to travel with Angela & Dave and enjoy some shared interests (shopping & eating & drinking, and shopping and drinking) was one I didn't want to pass up & so here we are, holidaying in the tropics (ugh), in the summer (which I hate), & on sand (ick!).

    ... Sydney brings out the fact that, mainly men / boys, having women cleaning up after them all the time, don't have the faintest idea what a toilet brush is for. Peter discussed this with the front office staff who then spent the next five minutes heaping a torrent of abuse (another exaggeration) on such people . . . ending with. "Just think about how the poor cleaners feel".

    ... have issues here and there and I spent a lot of time worrying and checking in with her. In the end we all did great! Our first dive was off to the right side of the beach, along some rockery and coral. We saw a ton of really cool fish! One little guy, well actually big guy, followed us around and kept circling around to us. He was a blue grouper. Danielle had an underwater scuba camera that I was very jealous of!
