... came, and it rained for ages! So we sat on the big comfy chairs painting nails, looking at Bangkok, whilst drinking beers and cocktails. N.W tried to get a discounted kayak but failed, so went in the sea anyway in the rain with N.M. They were out there for absolutely ages and before we knew it it was gone 4! Cerys and me then went in the sea with the boys and we all went snorkelling. The coral around ...

After an overnight bus, taxi, skytrain and a half hour walk I arrived at Centara Grand hotel in Bangkok. The hotel was 5 star luxury and I felt like a tramp arriving - I didn't even have enough money to pay the deposit! Finally I was shown to my room and I had my first bath since coming to Thailand!! Then I awaited the arrival of the Gondhia’s! Time had flown in since they first talked about booking a holiday to Thailand and I couldn’t quite believe that ...

... it, but if it's not in a salad, or deep fried, it makes my skin crawl, so walking along the beach was an obstacle course for me. After an hour, we were shown to our private bungalow by a lovely young 'lady' who was very polite and made small talk (I have a well tuned gaydar, so expected that I would also have been able to spot the ladies who weren't born ladies, and I think I was right- Nath was completely oblivious). The bungalow was lovely, made up of a ...

... managed to make it to Mama Schnitzel for supper without any monsoon rain to stop us!!

It was finally full moon party day so it was time to go shopping for illuminous gear and paint. Picking our shorts and tops for the night proved a lot easier leaving it to last minute as we just had to make a choice and stick with it!! Well painting ourselves started off fun and then after an hour just became more of a homework task!! Although, I did decide to splurge ...
