... fishing boats with their back to us – they were repairing the nets !

How so many crew fit on that each boat is amazing – surely they take turns in sleeping and I can only imagine how cramped their boats are. The boats are about 3 or four decks high with little windows on each deck – the decks don’t look high enough for a person to stand up so maybe they don’t have so many decks – hard to say really. Hello and welcome to our first full day abroad, in what is our only proper destination, that being the island of Koh Samui. The weather forecasted for today was for partly cloudy skies and a top temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, surprising cool given the south east Asian climate.

Even the poor dress as well as possible and take care of themselves. I could even imagine if I would be living here to do this more often. It does not in any way compare to our beauty salons or spa's. Truly an experience. (At this point I may need to confess I needed the massage as my legs ...

Hello everyone!

So we docked from the ferry and used our pre-arranged transfers to get to the hotel we were staying at for my Birthday. As you can see from the pictures its an amazing place! We arrived a little early so had to wait to check in so we sat by the beach. Not too long later we were shown to our room with a nautical theme, really pleasant place to stay! Making full use of the facilities we spent the ...
