A bit out of my budget admittedly however I was told this is the best way to travel there, and I must say the views were amazing. ... few a day we grabbed our bags from the hotel and walked AGAIN back up to the main road to get a taxi to the pier. We arrived JUST in time for the next boat, we bought ANOTHER 500 baht ticket and ran onto the boat which literally left as we stepped on it. We obviously didn't have a seat so we sat on the floor the whole journey. When we got to Koh Phangan things started to look up. The beach we are staying on is beautiful and the hostel is amazing! We are staying in little ...

The day started off as any other. Let the hostel at about 10am. Cab to train station to drop off bags. Only about 12 hours to wait for our train.... Went for breakfast in 'the cave' a brutally basic and grim restaurant. Jon was not impressed and left to sit outside. Zo and I ploughed on with our ...
