... in the hotel while trying to find out a bit about Myanmar / Burma. It's great to just stop for a few days and chill out but looking forward to getting on the road again tomorrow and discovering Myanmar. It's definitely a bit off the beaten track, there's not too much current information available about it so it will be a case of back to basics with a high level plan and figure the rest out as we go along!
... exciting. Me and Sam have done a bit of researching today and we know our route through Cambodia and roughly where to go there. We eventually managed to get some dollars (they use them there) so we're all sorted for our train tomorrow morning at 05:55 which will be 3rd class with open windows, so I'll let you know how that one goes! We should get to Siem Reap at about 3pm after a bus and taxis too. Got dollars ...

The Skytrain brought us there efficiently (a good Train schedule in European script is helpful: from the packed trains the names of the stations are not always visible. Count the number of stops!).
