The Afsluitdijk was built in 1927 and was a great little addition to the road trip of The Netherlands. Our next ...

... and I retreated to the apartment where we showed them our 'party' photos. Soon we were ready for sleep. It was not such a peaceful night in the tent as the wind and rain continued throughout the night.

    Tuesday 25 August
With rain rattling on the roof of the tent we didn't get up till 9ish. Margreet had more delicious smoothies ready for us.
