    A nice afternoon and evening with cousin Saskia, Mark Tante Nelly and Oom Henk.

    The weather was perfect for a tree top walk and Heather Walk at Het Boomkroonpad.

    An early morning start for me to get to Roelof and Janny's place in Gorredijk. Then we were off to Urk, a fishing village which was once an island. The weather was great to sit outside and enjoy coffee and lunch and a stroll around the village.
    We returned to Gorredijk and then rode bicycles through the woods and countryside to find a lovely quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, in the sunshine.

    ... to Emmen due to the fact Aimee had never met her Oma, with the exception of being a few months old but our nervousness was unnecessary. We couldn't be happier with our week long stay. Aimee reconnected with her Oma and Sean now has himself an Oma of his own not to mention Iwan his new honorary Opa. One thing we forgot to mention. The toilet at oma's was something new for us both.
