... option for dinner was a pizza. Finally we reached the hotel at around 9pm and managed to connect to fast wifi - so we all updated our various social media pages and accepted all our friend requests! We decided to have a chilled night in, as we have to wake up at 7.30 tomorrow! So after finishing off some Macaroons and throwing some up to Jack & Josh who were staying in the room above us, we all found to be a bit of a hilarious challenge, we were off to ...

After accidentally heading to beaune for 30 minutes, I turned around and headed to Lyon, scared it was going to be the hardest city to navigate in a car - turns out it is pretty easy to get around aside from the end with one way streets. The city appears to have a lot of culture and interesting history that I hope ...

The flight was full and smooth. We landed in bright sunshine at St-Exupery airport just after 10am. While rolling to the gate, an announcement came from the flight deck: A couple on board was on their way to ...

... because skiing ain’t cheap!

That afternoon, Sylvie and Denis decided to take me into
Lyon to see the city. I can truly say that even though I was only there for a
few hours, I like it immensely better than Paris. It reminds me a lot of
Austin. There’s everything you want from a big city without it feeling like a
big city. After Sylvie finished her shopping, we trekked up one of Lyon’s two
hills in order to get a better ...
