    Rugles is a lovely little town and the Aire is immaculate, next to a river running through the town, with full services and free electric.     We glimpsed chateaux alongside the road, some with steep grey flat roofs and some with cone shaped pinnacles.

    ... found the pretty village of Courville-sur-Eure & stopped for a 2 course €11 lunch, Peter got a surprise as his salad fruit de mer looked like uncooked prawns as they were transparent - I asked the waiter if they were cooked & he said no they were marinated (guess that's raw then!).     Early start this morning to try finish early to give the old body a chance to recover! Left this morning at 7am and arrived Mamers just after 2pm which is respectable I suppose. Stopped to take photos, fed a horse and had lunch along the way, but it was a good 83 miles with decent roads.
