... for the Eurostar. As it turned out we needn't have rushed, as our train had been cancelled due to the rail strike! We had heard mention of the strike but it had not occurred to us to check weather we would be affected! The information assistants at the station were very helpful, making arrangements and changing our tickets to other trains to get us across the country to get the Eurostar. ... br> We set off for Switzerland in the morning but had only got a few miles up the hill when we came across another Voie Verte with a parking area right there. So out with the bikes and through an 1100m tunnel that cost more than the Eiffel Tower to build. It was downhill all the way to Perrigny, but not too steep on the way back.
