... well as some national landmarks. We also got to visit a few medieval villages built into the valleys of lush mountainsides, accompanied by bright blue and green rivers. Unfortunately I was too busy enjoying the view for pictures, but hopefully I can go back on a leisure day and snap a few!

The whole Bridges of Life staff, being 13 of us in total, finally arrived after 10 hours of travel. Needless to say we were quite exhausted and ready to be done for ...

Time to go. Did most over the box packing last night but still a much earlier start for us today! Took the kids off to the park while hank did the rest if the pack down. Didn't leave til half twelve but made good time (only one wee stop) and didn't bother with a lunch stop so arrive at Le Mans at 4. So off we toddled and had a ...

Saturday morning was wet, very wet, I think it had been raining for some time by the time I had showered and joined John my somewhat concerned passenger in the lobby ready to leave for the paddock. The plan was to head for the Morgan club paddock then be guided down to the Bugatti circuit before going on track for a "parade" lap then back for breakfast and more stories.

I topped up the water, checked the car over and we prepared to set off when a chap ...

Friday morning I had two calls to make from 8am and they took two hours hence I was late for breakfast, to be fair it was 10.15, it was more brunch than breakfast. I managed to swipe some remnants of croissant and ham with the hotel staff looking on but being very generous by not being French and declaring "Finished" which did happen later in the trip.

Job one for today was fixing the fan, luckily James, Anne's brother is not known as “Captain ...
