... Dustin is away at a conference so just Carly and the kids here. The place is heaven for the kids. They enjoyed running around picking and eating raspberries and blackberries and checking out the spring water swimming pool (complete with 18 degree water and frogs) until almost 10pm. Eventually we got them all to sleep so the grown ups could enjoy a glass of wine and compare notes on the fun and challenges of travelling with young kids. ...

... where cars park on both sides of the road. Then Cesseras has a narrow little hill which is made narrower by parked cars and then 8 km climbing uphill round hairpin bends. The road is just slightly wider than a single track! But we arrived to be greeted effusively by Jeanne, who gossiped rapidly in French, some of which I understood.
