... the hoops teachers have to jump through to
actually become a teacher in Spain, Germany, England and of course, Canada.

I had a good time in Toulouse, I really liked the feel of
the city. It was nice, clean, young and had a cute little downtown area. In fact,

Cross country from Lodeve through remote village of Orlargues where we stumbled on an haut cuisine restaurant for lunch. It was seriously in the middle of nowhere after driving for a couple of hours through mountains, passes etc. The sun was shining on the river making it shimmer and the overall picture was like a chocolate box. The restaurant was right next to a roman built bridge and medieval village on both sides of the river. ...

... the crowds am 90-degree heat we'd experienced during our lunch and short walk through the city and spent the late afternoon and evening relaxing in "our" garden. We even had a late room service dinner there -- delicious cassoulet ... so romantic! We didn't see anyone but our server until we left at about 10pm for our evening walk. What an incredible experience to walk that city at night! There were very few people; the winding walkways and grand turrets and city ...
