I'm in Casablanca now, it's 31°, Nantes was 12 °. It's brown like Australia, France was lush and green,I don't suppose they have great tasting strawberries here. How odd, this morning I was wandering around the market in La Boule, now Casablanca. Two hours flight and the world has completely changed, it's not like this in Australia! Waiting for Dad (Chris), I haven't heard from him. I wrote an email on Friday, no response. Hope all is ...

... Thank goodness for Werner's backup hotel list unearthed from his pannier!

Highlights of our stay in Pornic were a long walk along the wild Atlantic past "les pecheries", little fishing sheds on stilts over the ocean with a large net to be lowered at high tide and, "mais oui", the FOOD!!! Good old trip advisor directed us to delicious shellfish gallettes at a local creperie!

... start up and go for his first walk of the year! Of course there were a ton of people around so we didn't stay for a ride or see the museum (also full of mechanical gadgets and animals! Oh and also also a 2 story merry-go-round with mechanical sea creatures...Amazing!) but we hope to maybe stop in when we head back to Nantes tomorrow. DID I MENTION HE SPRAYS WATER AT YOU WHILE HE IS WALKING??? Ok so I was a bit amazed by this elephant. Mike laughed at me when we were ...

Last time I was here, I couldn't walk yet. Now I can, yey!!

The Christmas market is so cool. Lots of people offering all kinds of stuff. I got to try roasted Chestnuts, sugar pretzels, and all sort of treats.

The lights are even prettier, but I wasn't allow to put them in my mouth. Bummer.
