Woke this morning knowing that we had all day to explore the town, sort ourselves out for walking tomorrow, and with no deadlines, bookings to keep, or trains to catch. Bliss! And it is amazing, or at least we had not expected, it is so Camino orientated....we see pilgrim walkers a lot, and street markers and are getting very excited and in the mood! The cathedral here is a shrine in its own right and is quite spectacular, set up high on a rock. ...

Today was quite busy, and finally we both felt a bit wiped out...this morning we were dragging our feet a bit, and would rather have just sat down and vegged. But of course we didn't. First we set off to see the Paul Bocuse markets which are just opposite our hotel - but had been closed on Mondays. ... grass pitches! We had a few cheeky San Migels before hitting the pool to cool off. Tonight we sampled the on site restaurant- si had a steak (looked like horse) and I had chicken- it was really nice and not doing dishes was even better!
