... byes we headed to the Abbey of Valmagne. This is a 12th Century Benedictine Abbey, set in the midst of the vineyards of Languedoc. Everyone was so full from wine and lunch, we just wandered around, admiring the beauty of something built so long ago. We arrived back at Sete about 5:30 and are now having Happy Hour in the hotel lobby. I don't think anyone is going out to dinner tonight. Wish I could post more pictures with this entry but the internet is so slow, it keeps timing out. ...

... from beyond, but didn’t know where to go. Before long, a lady came out to greet us, and took us into the coolroom to try their 3 cheeses – Saint Nectare, Salers, and Cantal.

We agreed to buying some of the Saint Nectare and the Salers, the Salers cheese from the milk of cows grazed on fresh summer grass, where the stronger tasting Cantal is of milk from barn-kept and hay-fed cows over winter.

Next to the parking lot was a single playground apparatus - A Round-a-Bout where you sit and spin yourself by using the center cylinder (description could be better - I have a great video if you must see it). I spun Caleb for a few hundred turns until it was time for us both to feel what Level 10 was ... I jumped on and spun us both. I literally fell over when I got off and thought I may see my lunch... Usson has literally no commerce to speak ...

Having packed most of the big stuff the night before we only had an hour or so before we left forthe hellish windy mountain road to the motorway. 2 hrs of driving at 30 mph around hairpins is really wearing...... Back to the Issoire municipal for a night of not good sleep assisted by noisy french people, very unusual.
