    ... out, being right beside it. After seeing the other huts we could have stayed in, I was very happy with our shack! After getting settled we met Allison and Kayla on the beach where we laid there almost all afternoon.     ... is very beautiful and clean and we were completely trigger-happy with the camera. The narrow alleyways go in all directions and you get completely lost but it doesn't matter. When you are ready to leave, you just head back down to the water. Caught the last (10pm) Seabus back with the gang and had a nightcap at the tavern near our dock.

    ... Orthodox priests servicing them are larger than life characters, with long beards and flowing blue/grey cassocks. Celibacy is not required, and priests are often seen on buses, in villages, and at sea.

    The people of Naxos are warm and welcoming, but Greece certainly has a problem with litter. Beautiful beaches are often covered with plastic containers or sections of fishing nets, washed up ...

    ... Nathan and I bade a sad farewell to Kostas and Dina, who were kind enough to give us a lift to the ferry, before setting sail on the Blue Star Ithaki. Fighting the mob to board the ship we snagged a great spot on the cool shaded section of the deck. The ride was quite comfortable, and the windows afforded us a brilliant view of the open sea.

    ... there wasn't a kettle, just a stove top with a saucepan, and the toaster consisted of a sandwich toaster, but we coped. I think that's just how the owner does things and sets it up. We also had a cleaner that comes in every day, and her name is Poppy. She tries very hard to speak English, but usually comes out with 'no problem", for everything.
