Final prep....
We spent six days in Red Deer preparing for our trip. It was pretty chaotic and stressful. We needed so much stuff and most of it was really specific, i.e. light weight or small or cycle touring related. Kory had managed to get most things sorted for the bikes but there were still lots of things we needed to sort out or buy. We had a lovely sleep in a warm bed in Red Deer last night. So far, this has been the best continental breakfast, although we haven't been staying in hotels very much so maybe we're missing out on some great ones.

Well its the day before holland and the house is a mess, all the creatures are sturing even the mice. All the boxes are packed even the coat rack. And we hope that are luggage is not to fat. Alberta Roamers Escapees RV Club Luncheon
Today we found our way north to Glennifer Lake Resort, just west of Innisfail. This was a chance to touch base with people we met at the Mesa Rally in March. The food was good and the conversations lively. We're looking forward to the Rally in August and I hope that harvest doesn't interfere!
