... one of the most beautiful singing voices I have ever heard. She also has the best hair in the world, it is so ridiculously long and thick and healthy!! She always gets annoyed with me because I play with her hair so much. Diana has had a tough time adjusting to life in Canada, which surprised me since she is from Lima, but of course Lacombe is very different from Lima. I always try to make an effort to spend time with Diana because Fio isn`t around a lot and her host mom works ...

... was too far for mom to hike so we drove to Bentley for ice cream.

Mom took the direct route back to Rimbey and I took the scenic route as the sky was clear and the temperature a comfortable 20 Celsius. It is always wonderful to ride in the sunshine.

Monday was a lazy day of lounging, but we made up for it by picking 4 buckets of Nanking cherries today and making lots of jelly. I can't wait to sample the goods.
