... and not so casual cyclists, skaters, parents with strollers, and the occasional electric scooter. Once out of old town, the trail is a little monotonous with views of warehouses and cargo trucks, but there are also some nice upscale apartments and condos, and some very pretty little housing developments near the end. There were a half dozen crossings back and forth, mostly over dedicated pedestrian bridges, but with the occasional well ...
... goes on and on.I kind of thought i got out of the bus and i actually flew back to europe and i ended up in marseille!It didnt feel like i am in Canada!
I still got to do a few things in the city,its acutally a pretty big city with a lot of museums,nice little boutiques,lots of music and festivals and they even have a mountain *mount real*...which is actually just a little hill comparing to the alps back home.I miss it!!
... I'm facing. But I managed to get there. The lake was frozen over. There is ice skating, sledding ,tobogganing and skiing going on there. Going from the lake to the lookout was a difficult walk because some of the path was so icy. I saw two guys walking on the snow with walking ski things and thought they got it right. The walk was worth it. The view was nice. I would like to see it on a clear day. I then walked to St Joseph Oratory. It is the largest shrine ...
Today we went on a quick tour of a waterfall (higher than Niagara and freezes in winter) and a couple of other highlights outside of the Quebec city.
Then we had the afternoon free.
Wandered around the shops and then went to the museum and looked into art shops and went down the artists lane. Magnificent work. There was an exhibition in the museum of France in the 1800's with some paintings by ...
... until late, fresh strawberries at the market, 5 ŕ 7s on a terrasse, street fairs, and tons to see and do. In the coming days, I look forward to catching up with all of you, and taking advantage of all the wonderful things that Montreal in the summertime has to offer.
