WOW! Cannot believe 2014 has come to an end! Many great things happened last year. My best friend got married, friends got engaged, announced pregnancies, I travelled to Rarotonga and Singapore... and then made the big move to France! Leading up to the end of 2014, Jayden had a couple of days off rugby, which allowed for us to go on a couple of day trips. First day trip was to Saint Emilion, a small historical vineyard town about 45 minutes inland from Bordeaux. One ...

We considered the price a bit high but it covered two meals and a small tour of that part of ...

The change in the weather and an exhausting day in Bordeaux yesterday made sense to enjoy the benefits of electricity and large showers. So we took a trip through the vineyards to the north west of Bordeaux. Famous names were ...

... city; it was radically transformed in 18th century. We are finally at the stage where we are just happy to wander, we've seen so many ancient places, churches, cute villages etc that we feel no need to see as much as possible in our one full day here. It is surprisingly busy especially in the main kilometre long shopping street. What is interesting about the 11th century Cathedrale Saint-Andre is the fact that the bell tower is a separate ...
