... to the camping to watch some "Vikings". 1st Today we were going to visit Bourdeaux. Really well organized here to keep cars out of town. We were send to a closed parking at the outskirts where we payed 4.50€ for the whole day plus we got two return tickets with the tram into the centre of town, perfect no ? Wish they'd be so clever in our towns !! Anyway we got off at a point near the river where we could walk back via ...

Once it had cooled down a bit, we headed down to the Lac where we set out our towels in the shade and soaked up some sun. After we spent the day at the lake, we watched X-Men ...

I guess they are not really chasing carloads of Aussies to come and taste their good wallop and we found that you had to have booked 2 months in advance to do a tour. We did manage ...

Robin's Birthday lunch

High in the hills, over looking a beautiful valley and a river, my friends treated me to a beautiful lunch at a elegant restaurant specializing in homemade, locally grown and raised cuisine. Not the type of place a tourist would find being high up in the hills. The view, the company and the food -beyond words. I thought I ate well in Italy but France has been a whole new gastronomic ...
