... day we took it a bit more leisurely and walked about 4 miles around the nature reserve and floral park which was close to our site.

    ... missed walking up the towers but Liyana came over and we had wine and she cooked us some confit duck out of a can! It was amazing we fired up some potatoes in duck fat as well it was the best meal ever! We stayed up late talking and catching up, it was great to see her again I'm so glad that we were able to make it down to Bordeaux and see her I just wish we could have stayed ...

... or air BnB to drop off our bags then head in to town to meet Liyana for dinner, we walk through the streets and Liyana tells us about Bordeaux. We have dinner at this cute little restaurant by the cathedral the food is amazing, then we head to the theatre and the square where there is a carnival in town we wander around a bit before jumping on the tram back to the air ...

... 5ish and once again we we very impressed by the architecture, there buildings were certainly built to last. Aaron told us about a street in Bordeaux it is 1.2 km in length and it is a shopping Mecca, with no time to waste off we went with cameras in hand and eyes wide open. It was only a short walk and there it was hundreds of people as far as the eye could see shops both sides and no cars in sight. Really couldn't stay ...

... in Place de la Bourse close to the attractive gardens and walk along the river and watched children having great fun in a reflection pool.
