We arrived in Les Eyzies just in time for the museum's noon closure, so we drove the road north to the Grotte du Grand Roc and Abris de Laugerie which were also closed for lunch, but we could hike along the road and see the amazing huge rocks resting on top ...

... much better than one each (which had been the usual). The cheese board that came out was HUGE and had so many cheeses on it. When the waitress came to take it away we said we were still going. We didn't realise that the one board was actually for the whole restaurant - oops. The desserts were impressive. I had icecream with raspberry and meringue - delicious.
