    Thanks to work I had a great time @ six flags. I had the park all to myself and a few coworkers for the morning. Nitro 4 times in a row then a few other rides. The Kingda Ka 3 times in a row. It started to rain after lunch so we called it quits. Im getting old ...

    ... city much easier. Soon we were crossing the bridge into New York's Staten Island borough. This hotel is very nice, a great value. Pillowtop mattresses and newly remodeled with HD TBs help you forget how small the room is. The area around here is reminiscent of working class Melrose Park or Stone Park in Chicago. There us a rough edge to it, but houses are well-maintained and clean, always a good sign for a neighborhood. Tomorrow hopefully the front will pass and we can explore ...

    ... We continued on to Asbury Park and spent the rest of the day on the boardwalk. Patricia and the kids played mini golf, then we all spent some time in an arcade that was loaded with old style pinball machines...too much fun! Thanks to these New Yorkers I even finally found a nearby Post Office at 42nd St & 9th Avenue, dispatching my postcard. Yeah, Chell & Sharon, see what I did to get you that postcard!
