... from afar and it lives up to that description up close too. We bought our tickets and went in to see: • The Old Royal Palace • The Basilica of St. George • Golden Lane, which is a street dating back to the 1500's. It was fascinating for the fact that it has preserved everyday life as it was then. The houses on the street were tiny, and generally only consist of an entry and one room. All up the houses would not have been bigger than 3x4 ...

... is the first time that I was bummed I didn't have my nice Canon camera. We made our way into a theater with beers in purse and when the lights cut on it was obvious immediately that this was going to be unlike any other. What appeared to be the brightest neon green alien appeared glowing across the screen with the neatest colors floating and trailing behind him. It was a total black light theater and it surpassed what I expected of it. A couple from Britain ...

... we were pretty pooped - I calculated that by day's end we'd walked close enough to 10kms! Fortunately, as some of you will know, we are finely honed Olympic-class athletes, and therefore it wasn't a problem, but by the time we hit the sack at about 11ish, I was rooted! After we'd had enough of the bloody palace, we went back to the city and had dinner, before we attended a performance by the Vienna State Orchestra ...(that may not be technically correct, but ...
