... Ice Hockey Game. Our new adopted team is the Spartans and we ran into the mascot of the team on our way into the stands. ( see photo). We really enjoyed the game. It was fast, sometimes brutal and a game invented for young, tough, large men! They were all fairly intimidating up close. At some stage through the game a large 'bang' was heard at the other end of the stadium (small stadium holding only 13,000 people) and security came from everywhere. Two people ...

All in all it was a great day. I still feel bad Jeanne had to work, but we are considering today a "scouting" trip for when she can join us. Tomorrow the conference begins and the worker bees will all be across the way at the conference center and we "guests" are heading to Kutna Hora for the day. If anyone is still with me I'll report back tomorrow!!

... Charles Bridge is a famous historic bridge that crosses the Vitava river. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century.

We walked across the bridge and then headed up to the Prague Castle (Pražský hrad) which is the official residence and office of the President of the Czech Republic. Located in the Hradčany district and dating back to the ...

... felt like to live through those experiences, we can all bring bits and pieces of our own lives to the table and feel comfortable comedically reflecting on them for each other's benefit. People all over the world feel happy and lonely and in love and heart broken, hungry, afraid and brave and these passing interactions with strangers in a hostel we only arrived at two hours before, are proof of how fundamentally similar and equal all people are in spite and because of their ...
