In fact, we were so enamored with the apartment, that we stayed in for the night and relaxed in "our" living room and watched TV, and left the sight-seeing till tomorrow. It is with great regret that I inform you that the score is cheesecake 1, girls 0.
Upon arriving in Chicago it was fairly natural that one of the first things I did was get a traditional deep dish Chicago pizza, before a night recuperating and appreciating an actual bed.

We continue on to Milwaukee Avenue to do the 30 min walk to Wicker Park. We stop by a cool little cafe to have hot chocolate (still don't trust the coffee here, need to find an Aussie cafe). Its got a cool Surry Hills or Camden vibe. The cafe is filled with students on their laptops studying or Facebooking.
