    Today we said good bye to our French hosts and head to Tour for the night. I really wanted to spent at least one night here as I had built myself up to visiting while back home and I'm so glad we did.     ... and peaceful house is set in Parc Leonardo Da Vinci. Here he finished work on his 3 favourite paintings, including the Mona Lisa. A copy of this hung in one of the rooms, much larger than the original that we hope to see next week. In the basement were numerous models of his inventions.     Having said that it is actually a strikingly beautiful building dominated by a wonderfully grand double helix stair case inspired by Leonardo da Vinci.
