    ... Chateau de Chenonceau. This one was Mummy's favourite. It looked like the Disneyland castle! After walking through a beautiful grove, Ben noticed 2 statutes that looked Egyptian. As well as having a castle that was beautiful (home to 5 French Queens), it had excellent gardens with beautiful fountains. Ben and Jon had fun running through the gardens.     ... chef behind the bar area - interesting to note it was a totally female operation! We felt comfortable in the pleasant atmosphere within this restaurant and pleased that we had chosen well from the large number of restaurants here.

Each winter, the 1,015 lime trees on the estate take a team of four gardeners three months to prune. 115,000 flowers and vegetables are planted out each year.
