    We seem to be getting quite good at packing up now but it still has to be done so we had a leisurely morning with Mum and I sorting laundry and packing and the boys working.     ... say hello, as well as the tortoises (the speediest we've ever seen - we have movie to prove it!) and various types of lemurs - the ring-tailed lemur were so close over a rope barrier we could have easily touched them.     ... We did however come to the Cheval Rouge (no reason for the name we discovered other then a giant red horse outside, to advertise I guess!) and discovered All Blacks and England rugby posters, as the owner used to play rugby. It was a typical family-run French bar/restaurant with good food and friendly service - and the young couple's 2yo daughter made our night by sitting happily in her high chair chattering away and singing songs in French - tres meme (cute)! ...

    Our first stop of the day was just down the river from Mailly Chateau. We stopped under the white cliffs of Le Saussois and hiked up to the top.
