... no wind. Not bad. Stopped for soup at Rochefort. More road works and pavements being replaced. Good soup and back on the road, this time taking the road less travelled. Obscure roads through tiny villages veering across the countryside.

To and Huget both had to go to work, so we had a slow start and then drove to Holland! Maastricht, home of André Rieu! Had a lovely day walking around the two market squares, the food and clothes market stalls and then had lunch watching the people walk by. No churches, museums or art galleries today. ... risk it. Thus she got my yummy soup and i got her ceaser salad.

After lunch we went and drank some more beer. Next was another dark beer, this also came with cheese flavored by feeding the cows the discarded wheat, malt and hops. It was great.

The next beer we got was a blond. This was nice but not as flavorsome as dark beers.

Once we had this beer we were basically ready to head back.

We caught the taxi ...

Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads.
