During our stay in Spa we had the most scary, horrible, unpleasant experience ever in a restaurant.
The restaurant to avoid is "Le Bouchon Gourmand", the owner does not hesitate to insult customers, lock them into the restaurant if there is a dispute on the bill, and claim more money than is due.

After popping into and out of Germany, we were now back in Belgium. It was beginning to get a bit dark, and we still had at least 200 miles left to drive.
Gaz's motor was struggling, and threatening to overheat, so we stopped to let it cool down.
With the vehicles all decorated with stickers, we attracted a bit of attention, and a Belgian couple took our ...

As Florinda went to work each day, I was free and given the roam of the flat and my own keys.
I had briefly been in Brussles some years ago, but didn't remember much. I spurged and took the hop on/hop off sightseeing double decker bus tour, to get an orientation to the city, learn a few facts and to also use as a form of public transportation. I got ...
... who'd been on exchange in Australia and even had the aussie accent to match, and we got along really well! Coming home we stopped at Bruxelles and saw the Grand Place, the rennovated Celtica and just had a little walk around! I had a lot of fun that day :)
That weekend I went to Brit's house. I was also invited to a party from a girl at my new school, but I didn't know anyone else going and it was far away so I couldn't carpool with anyone so gave ...
... Victoria/Lancelot came over and we went over to dinner to family friend's house. We also picked Lancelot up from Scout camp. Don't know if I've already mentioned that here EVERYONE does Scouts but anyway, now you know!
Packed my suitcase to go to Bretagne with the host fam..ready to go!

Think that's about it for the house except that there's a big inflatable pool as well and their veggie garden is massive!
The School:
It's called 'L'abbaye de Floreffe' and it's actually amazing. It was built in 1121 and its pretty big. Other aussies told me it was like Hogwarts, and I feel like I'm walking onto the set of a film every day there! It's apparently one of the most highly ...
Ok Guys,
Big apology for no update since last time
= Kate's comment pretty much sums it up; did you change the address to your blog or have you just been busy? No guys, its still this address, but life's been absolutely loaded full of things to do since last report...
But, as you can probably tell from last entry, I'm very happy here.
Here's an update on the last few months because I have to say a LOT has changed.
Basically, if you didn't ...
We 'trundled down past Maastricht towards Germany. The deviations were big ones but we still were able to make good time! The scenery was worth the deviations though. We past by some wonderful little towns and river gorges. Very nice bit of countryside. Will have to return there sometime, God willing!
Namur, Belgium perleval... to all that Dutch colonial imperialism in the then Dutch East Indies a few centuries ago, spotting Indonesian restuarants in the Netherlands was about as difficult as spotting druggies at a rave party. And if this particular restuarant is indicative of the others then finding a superb meal is no more difficult – even though the Dutch menu didn’t give us too many hints on exactly what we were choosing.
