Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. Meanwhile we sat and chatted with the Dutchies, Eric, Alex and Jehlla, downing drinks and reminiscing about the race. Then two older English gentleman arrived, one the owner of a very sweet Aston Martin, who knew the boys from previous years and invited us to their cabin to drink out of the cold. Well then the rounds of beers started, and Taledaga Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby was played on their tv. A very lively conversation, laughs ...

... mega loud!! No rain today which was unusual for Spa but good for us. Just cold and breezy. Got to a maximum of 16 degrees but we were better dressed today. Drivers parade of top 10 which was a bit of a let down. Formula 1 started at 2pm. Exciting! Great race with Ricciardo again showing he has the goods. Go you good thing! ... to clear to a drizzle, then carried our chairs and bags to the track side to reclaim our position before the F1s. Andy returned with an umbrella, but walking back the foam handle broke off. Then I noticed an area of rust on the shaft. A bit rough for what it cost. It kept us from getting too soaked, and after the sun came out we felt quite warm watching trackside.

The plan today was to visit the museums and churches of Maastricht. That plan went out the window in five minutes after walking out the door. It was a gorgeous sunny day, way to nice to be spending inside stuffy old buildings. Looking at the map, there is a place called Bastions Hoge Fronten, on the other side if town.
