... was pretty huge, but we were only allowed access to certain areas. The most impressive part of the house was the grand garden entrance.
Ironically, just leaving the gates of the château we came across a French army recruitment event and a not so grand flea market. We had our fun however, picking up random knick-knacks and giant sour punch straw candies.
... was something seriously wrong with me. How terrible would it be to be diagnosed with some malignant tumor or an illness while in a foreign country without family nearby?! My blood pressure seriously skyrocketed.
Then the nurse returned and explained that I had a calcium node near my ribs. I had no clue what that meant, honestly, I quite still don't understand. But she said it was "natural," "you," "no problem" - maybe she was trying to figure out how to translate "benign" ...
... she told me that she thought we were already Facebook friends, which we were. I am going to miss everyone so much. It's going to be a rough day tomorrow.
I just need to get myself excited to go home, but in all honesty, it's not happening for me right now. I just want to stay here forever. I love the friends I have made and the crazy French lifestyle. This just proves to me that this is the country I was meant to live in.

SO MANY FRESH FRUITS AND VEGGIES!! Since leaving Honduras, I had forgotten how wonderful it was to smell the fruits and veggies fresh from the ground and see the vendors care so much about their products. It was beautiful.
