    ... buster hills just a series of roller coaster rides. The trick was to go down fast enough to get momentum to make it up the other side. Good in theory but didn't always work though. As we got closer to Nancy the quiet country road soon turned into a intimidating busy one, so we found an alternative to that too. Luckily the last 5km was on a smooth, paved canal path.     ... was pretty huge, but we were only allowed access to certain areas. The most impressive part of the house was the grand garden entrance.

    Ironically, just leaving the gates of the château we came across a French army recruitment event and a not so grand flea market. We had our fun however, picking up random knick-knacks and giant sour punch straw candies.

    ... got confusing as yannick was trying to follow the gps and stay on the right hand side of the road. It was raining and very dark even though it was 730am.
