... canal which provided a gorgeous view of the Ottawa River and the Canadian Museum of History across the water in Hull. The views became even prettier from the lawns of Parliament. We wondered around Parliament for 30 minutes taking in the sites of the Ottawa River, the views across the water and the magnanimus and ornate limestone building that was Parliament itself. The photos I took truly do not do it justice, and I really need to learn to be a better iphone ...

We are packing and organizing and repacking (to lighten our packs) over the next few days as well as saying goodbye to all our friends and family. It will be a hectic few days but so worth it for the big adventure to come.

After our battle with the spiders we realized that Thorin was gone. Not long after that the wood elves showed up with bows pointing at us. They tied us up and took us back to their cave. I looked around and Bilbo was nowhere to be seen. They took us back to their cave where the king was. This cave wasn't like a goblin cave. It wasn't as deep and it was more wholesome.
