... just creeps up through 6, then 7 and 8 thousand feet. We stop for five minutes to look at a high level lake, which is very pretty and has lots of ducks on it, but still no bears. Next stop for 5 minutes is just by the entrance to White Wolf Pass, then back on the road, we do though have to stop for 15 minutes as they are doing work on the road and all the cars are stopped for a while.
