... by a middle aged drunk woman who took us in the wrong direction. As it got dark, we conceded defeat and headed back to the city. We spent a few hours in a pub then decided to catch a midnight bus out there. At 3:30 am on the 5th day of travel, we finally made it to the mountains.

... Jack suggested that we find a cabin for the next few nights. Luckily, we stopped at the forest service office where we met a local resident who suggested we try Beaver Lake Estates where they have three guest cabins for rent at the bargain basement price of $35 per night!
