    ... learned that the area of the labrynith was able to survive with no water. Wow!!!! Following this visit to the gardens we headed to manchester to see my sister, brother in law and niece and nephew. The GPS was great and took us on the country roads to avoid the traffic. We enjoyed a wonderful Shabbat dinner together and the kids are having fun playing and catching up. Now for a restful Shabbat Shabbat ...

    ... The final flight of an historic cold war supersonic British Vulcan bomber happened to occur during our lunch as the cherry on top.
    Our exploration of the palace grounds was heightened by the presence of the illustrator for 'The Gruffalo' book series. We were able to act the role of the privileged 18th century aristocracy, playing ring toss and lawn bowling, wandering the gardens, all with Gruffalo inspired activities for the kids interest.

    ... this time, will really help me to finally accept who I am and help me to learn about my ancestors, their culture, lost traditions and to discover who I really am and where I come from.

    After having such a lovely surprise last night with Nicky and Sarah turning up at the B&B to surprise us and having a great evening together this morning could have been a day to have a " lay in " but as true dedicated cyclists we kicked them out of the B&B early to make their way home . Bless them both they left Kendal at 09.00 and got home at 17.15 ( Could have cycled it quicker girls!! )
