My little Transalp on the other hand is fully loaded and is almost twice the weight as their sports bikes and on much narrower off road tyres and so simply just slices its way through the puddles. ... After the tour we had a light lunch at the cafe then drove onto Durham. The A1 was diverted at Berwick on Tweed via the A682 to where it joined the A1 just before Newcastle. Very nice farming areas with lots of hay making and sheep. Found the accommodation but no meals Sunday so had to walk 10 mins to a hotel.
