Kansas City’s arts district also has a small Museum of
Contemporary Art and a large sculptural park just beyond the museum’s lawns
with many outdoor modern works including the largest number of bronzes by Henry
Moore in the U.S.
If I were to live in Kansas, Lawrence would be my choice.
That’s not to say I want to live in Kansas, but Lawrence is the state’s largest
university town as home to University of Kansas, which makes it more
open-minded academically-oriented place than other spots in the state. I find
