    ... pace, and enjoy some much needed rest days. Again we have been so fortunate with the weather-raining only on those days which we'd scheduled as rest days. In actual fact, we haven't been delayed by wet weather on our entire trip which is actually quite remarkable. Although we don't really expect this to continue once we reach Scotland and England.     ... strange time to pick up your cruise but with the sun just set, you can hardly call it set! It's still full daylight! We wait with other intrepid travellers and are rewarded when our ship sails up to the dock and we board, check in and make our way to our cabin. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, the colorful two story warehouses on the old wharf, no longer store dried salted codfish (still sold in the fish market and said to keep for 25 years or more), but are filled with restaurants and shops. With the sea, the mountains and the colorful buildings, Bergen is a very picturesque city.

    ... least and the Light Rail which is currently proposed for Canberra seems to work very well here) but decided to walk back into town approximately 7km along a very pleasant cycle way. Best option for lunch seems to be raiding the supermarket, but we have enjoyed a couple of nice dinners.
