    ... 2016 Corvette Stingray, big Chevy's and unusual Toyota's. We got free t-shirts (Chevy ones) a Toyota racing bag, snacks and koozes. We checked out all the merchandise on sale, got a autograph of one of the drivers and watch an interview with another driver. My drooled over some of the large trucks used to transport the cars and spend a good few hours in the rain.

    ... reached the visitor centre, through green and very pretty countryside and a bunch of small towns. We took the distillery tour and the first stop was one of the barrel houses containing some 6000 barrels of whiskey slowly aging. We were allowed to poke our heads in the door for a sniff, and oh my gosh it was incredible.

    ... we got one of them fixed yesterday, but not until I had spent a good part of the day playing taxi mom, driving the girls to and from college, piano lessons, and piano teaching. But it worked out fine, and made me appreciate having more than one car).

    ... connecting flight in Minnesota. Delta automatically re booked us on the next available flight which wasn't until 8:18pm which puts us in Charlotte at midnight. So we were at the airport for 7 hours! Yes 7 hours. We were originally supposed to land in Charlotte at 4:40pm. After roaming the airport, we found a PGA simulation area which was amazing.
