... with chicken. Plus a couple of glasses of wine. It was cheap and cheerful and full of groups, and some young children, eating off big platters of chicken wings etc. Blacks, whites, Mexicans. The apartment was comfortable and painted in strong Mexican colours of ocre, red, brown, and yellow. It was on the corner of two quiet backstreets. LA is gridded with busy six lane main boulevards infilled with rows of quiet streets lined with clapperboard family houses. It is ...

Ok, so the past couple days have been busy. Sunday morning we got up and went to a small church not to far from campus called Prism Church. It had about a hundred or so people and they were kind enough to invite us to stay for lunch this particular Sunday. ... we literally knew no one there except one person, but we were grateful for the couch! The next morning met up with my fellow SEA traveler Avery and our old hometown friend. Went out to brunch and had some good laughs about our previous days. Saying good bye to one of my best friends was tough as it always is but at the same time I'm sure next time I see him it will be as if we didn't even miss a beat. Avery and I spent the next day wandering the streets on sunset blvd ...

Es gab we***** Achterbahnen ...
