Wow! Today was the best day so far, purely because of the Cheddar Gorge. It was amazing breathtakingly beautiful to descends between it's cliffs. I'm so glad I went there and would love to revisit. Tried to make Potato & Leek soup, not by best effort but edible, no real tools like blender or sieve, or a proper masher.; Tonight did a stir fry, as we wanted some decent veggies, but had to use two pots as nothing was big enough, no wok or decent size frypan. Their idea of vegetables here is chips & peas or a jacket potato & butter, nothing else.

... exchanges with Aussies.
After lunch we decided to drive back to Merthyr Tydfil & walk around some of the town. There were some nice old buildings there.
Clem & Lloyd have now fixed the clothes dryer, so we can now wash & dry our clothes without having washing hanging all over the house to dry, another big yay.
It now depends on the weather, where our next adventure will be tomorrow.
