The ticks were up with the sun this morning. I left camp at 6:15AM after just cramming everything in a temporary spot in my panniers. Christina was on the phone getting updates on our cat Simon. He seems to be doing better but he's been relocated to Grandma's apartment for the month in order for his joint to heal. Simon also really likes to be around people and it wasn't working too well with him closed up in our room.
